Social Gifting Partners with Hotel Ora to Showcase Crafter Talents

At Social Gifting, our mission has always been to empower differently-abled individuals and provide them with opportunities to showcase their talents. We firmly believe that everyone deserves a chance to earn a living and contribute to society. In line with this vision, we are thrilled to announce our recent collaboration with Hotel Ora at Resorts World Sentosa, where we have partnered to display a unique collection of handmade gifts made by our talented crafters.

Despite possessing the creativity and craftsmanship to create a wide range of gifts from their home, our crafters face limitations in selling their creations or establishing their own stores due to their disabilities. Therefore, this exciting partnership with Hotel Ora serves to give Social Gifting a vital opportunity to raise awareness about our crafters and provide them with a platform for their gifts to be purchased. Our collaboration also stands to promote sustainability by offering eco-friendly or upcycled gifts.

The success of this collaboration owes much to the incredible dedication and hard work of our team members. We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to Clarissa, our marketing and logistics assistant who served as chief designer for the Hotel Ora pop-up booth.

Clarissa suffered from a traumatic brain injury arising from a road traffic accident which hindered her coordination and memory. Despite the cognitive limitations, she worked tirelessly to ensure that every gift was carefully tabulated and displayed to its best advantage, bringing the booth to life and creating an inviting atmosphere for visitors. Her unique journey serves as a testament to her resilience and serves as an inspiration to others facing similar challenges.

We would also like to acknowledge the invaluable contributions of Amelia, our newest marketing and logistics assistant at Social Gifting. Amelia's resourcefulness played a vital role in facilitating the translation of collaterals for the booth. With her support, we were able to meet tight deadlines and provide clear and informative descriptions of our crafters' stories and the unique qualities of each gift.
