Ernest has a real passion and energy for people.

Armed with the skill sets he picked up as an IHRP-SP certified professional, he had partnered teams and individuals to grow, develop and perform through his career of more than 20 years in Human Resources.

With both experiences with the Singapore Government and Global Corporates, he hopes to be able to give even more of himself in service of communities.

He finds it exceptionally rewarding to support leaders in the making get even better at what they do, paying it forward as they grow to be exceptional.

A supervised Psychotherapist-in-training, Annabelle is a fervent advocate of mental health and community empowerment.

Preceding her transition into the field of Psychotherapy, Annabelle earned a Bachelor's degree and a Master of Arts (Research) in History. Her scholarly inquiries cultivated an acute awareness of the ramifications of sociocultural norms and practices on individual and communal wellbeing, and the multi-dimensional impacts of trauma.

Recognising the indispensable role of Psychology in comprehending both individual psyches and broader social dynamics, Annabelle acquired her Graduate Diploma in Psychotherapy and Counselling, and Professional Diploma in Psychotherapy following the completion of her Master’s degree.

Annabelle is committed to expanding her intellectual horizons to enhance her ability to better empower the community.

Inspired by her 3 children, Valen decided to pursue a career in the Social Service Sector. In 2015, she left the private sector and took up a Fundraising role in the Social Service Sector and organised events such as live telecast TV Charity Show, Flag Days, Charity Swim & more.

In 2017, to develop a stronger theoretical foundation of the sector, she decided to pursue a degree in Social Work at Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) and graduated in 2021. With the support of SUSS, she started Social Gifting to provide meaningful activities / passive income to people who are unable to leave home due to caregiving duties or physical constraints.

Duygu is originally from Turkey, studied Chemical Engineering as a bachelor degree and pursued her MBA from Seoul National University. Before beginning her current position at Social Gifting she worked for one of the international advertising companies in Dubai. After 7 years of expat life in Dubai she moved to Singapore with her son and husband.

Duygu was always eager to contribute to a positive change whether in a personal or professional level, that’s why she is very grateful for having the opportunity to use her expertise to support the mission of Social Gifting.

Catherine decided to take bold steps to return to the workforce after providing a few years of caregiving duties to her family.

She hopes to join Social Gifting to provide meaningful work to the underprivileged and help them find meaning in life.

She is the go-to person when we need back-end support and helps to ensure all orders are delivered smoothly.

Lisa is a seasoned finance professional with more than 10 years of experience in accounting.

She is passionate about helping others and hopes to contribute to the society through her work at Social Gifting.

As an aspiring social worker, Gabrielle is always ready and eager to reach out to those who need help. With her knowledge and experience, she hopes to be able to make a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable groups in society.

Currently pursuing a double major in HR and Strategic Communications, Batrisya aims to infuse her role at Social Gifting with a creative and dedicated spirit. 

Driven by a desire to make a difference, she believes in the power of collaboration and compassion. As Batrisya ventures forward, she seeks to channel her imaginative prowess while contributing to meaningful endeavours that empowers the community.

Verena is a recent polytechnic graduate in accountancy and eagerly waiting to start her university journey. She is currently learning how to crochet during her free time, with aspirations to not only hone her crafting skills but also share it with others through teaching and collaborative projects.

Verena is driven by the desire to leverage her strengths and work on her social skills to contribute meaningfully to society, and is excited to learn more about the diverse ways that she can give back.

Prior to Social Gifting, Lynn has been actively involved in volunteering, focusing on meeting the aging needs of seniors. Her efforts include engaging them in their homes and community spaces to promote active living, health, and connecting them with beneficial government schemes.

By joining Social Gifting, Lynn aims to make a positive difference to seniors by empowering them with crafts, enriching their quality of life so they can age gracefully and with dignity.

Lily is a dedicated professional with four years of experience as a Proflair under the FLAIR (Focused Language Assistance in Reading) programme, developed by the Ministry of Education in 2007 designed to provide focused support for K2 children who need support building a strong foundation in English and developing a positive disposition towards learning the language. Through this role, she has been instrumental in helping young learners build a solid foundation in English and fostering a positive attitude toward the language.

In addition to her professional endeavours, Lily has been actively engaged in volunteer activities since 2018. This experience has further enriched her skills and deepened her commitment to supporting educational and community development.

With prior knowledge of Social Enterprise from her polytechnic education, Ping Swen grew interest for Social Gifting during her community engagement as she witnessed how elderly were empowered through the crafting program.

Ping has contributed to Social Gifting by developing B2B segment and through that, she has successfully brought in our biggest sales of 9,000 felt pouches.
